So these are some pictures that were taken last summer when I went on a mission trip to Portland, Oregon. I have been thinking about Portland a lot lately, not just the city, but the people I met there and the team I went with and worked with. I miss this place, I miss these people, I miss serving here. I went summer 2018 and summer 2019. I had planned on interning with the church we worked with here during summer 2020, but God had other plans (thanks, Corona Virus). In this time of isolation and uncertainty, I have been thinking back on my trips to Portland and remembered how God called me there then, and He has plans for us now even when they might now be what we were hoping. I still believe God can use this for good, yes, I am very sad and dissapointed that I don’t get to go back this summer, but I fully trust that God has some pretty dang GREAT things and times in store. Keep the faith and hang on, it’ll all be alright.
